Boruto is a Japanese manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, and serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from May 2016 to July 2019. In November 2020, Kodachi stepped down as writer, and Kishimoto took over. The series concluded the first part of its story in April 2023 and, after a brief hiatus, resumed in August 2023 with a second part titled “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations – New Era”.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

A spin-off and sequel to Kishimoto’s Naruto, follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, and his friends Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki Uchiha. The series explores the challenges they face as they grow up in a world at peace, as well as the looming threat of a new enemy.
